New Droid 4 Phone -- got app recommendations?

For the last week or so, my trusty Droid 2 had been starting to freak out, needing to be rebooted several times a day, locking up in mid-text message and so on. This morning I just bit the bullet and upgraded to a Droid 4. I've never been one for keeping tabs on all the latest apps and such, I tend to find something I like, and stick with it...perhaps longer than I should. :)
Any new-ish apps you'd recommend? Things I'm looking for include...
A killer todo list/outline app.
A way to backup -everything- on the phone in 1 place/app ala the way Blackberry does it (and ideally save said backup to my laptop, not in the cloud).
Any music-making apps. I have Virtual Recorder. Other fun keyboard/spacenoise/emulator things out there you like?
Games! Duh! :)
Are there GOOD Remote Desktop and FTP clients?
A good email client for my non-gmail account(s)
Other stuff you think I just can't live without.
If I take a while responding to text/email/voicemail, it's because I'm still getting this badboy configured. Wasn't I supposed to...ummm...actually work today?
