My Dev.Objective Schedule

June 09, 2016

Dev.Objective is next week! How did that get here so quickly?!

I’m giving 2 talks this year.  The first is a 2-hour deep-dive version of “Crash Course in Ionic + AngularJS”.  This talk will use AngularJS 1.x technology. Sorry, nothing Angular 2.x specific in this talk.  It was just really unfortunate timing that version 2 came along when it did while I was working on this talk. It’s just way too much work to redo everything to be for Angular 2 (and I haven’t used that much anyway — my Angular / Ionic projects are all still on 1.x with no immediate plans to upgrade).

Next I’ll be giving my talk “HTML5 201”.  It’s basically a run-thru of several features in HTML5 that are cross-browser compatible, and easy to implement, giving your app some extra functionality, while not requiring any 3rd party add-ons.  Nothing in this talk involves Angular, jQuery, Handlebars, Bootstrap, etc. It’s just “regular” HTML and Javascript that should work pretty much anywhere.

There are SO many good sessions, picking a gameplan for the week has been incredibly difficult.
